February and March News

Hello Room 6!
It's hard to believe that 2nd grade is more than half way over. We are so busy in Room 6 that the time flies by quickly! Here are some important things to remember:

• March 1st through the 5th is conference week Look for a conference appointment in your child's backpack.
• School gets out at 1:15 everyday during conference week.
• March 5th and 6th is our school talent show. Several classmates from Room 6 are in it so come show support by watching the show!
• Open House is Thursday, March 11th.
• Spring Break is March 15th-19th.

December News

Hello Room 6 Families!
We are pleased to announce that we have a new student in our class. His name is Donald and he was welcomed by your children today.

Here are some important reminders:

• Please bring in canned goods to donate to families in need this week.
• Come shop at the Holiday Boutique this week after school!
• Our school Dance Production is December 10th at 9:00. Everyone is welcome to come!
• Our class Heritage Project is due December 11th.
• Our last day of school before winter Break is Friday, December 18th.

November News

Hello Room 6 Families! We are finally up and running with a blog! This can be a handy way to communicate with each other and keep up with what is going on in our classroom.
Here are a few reminders for this month:

• Parent/Teacher Conferences are the week of November 16th. Your child will come home with a conference date and time reminder for your conference.
• There is no school Wednesday, November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day.
• There is no school on Monday, November 16th due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
• Tuesday-Friday (17th-20th) school will end at 1:15 again-to accomodate the conferences.
• There is no school November 26th and 27th in honor of Thanksgiving.

As you can see, November is busy!
